“Mike, stop. You’re not making any sense.”, Will whispers against the skin of Mike’s thumb.
“I’ve never made more sense than right now and we both know it.”, Mike whines, “If you want to kiss me and I want to kiss you, like, really fucking badly, then why won’t you just let me? Who cares if I’m drunk? I’ll remember it, trust me. And I’ll kiss you fifty more times tomorrow.”
“What if I want fifty-one kisses?”, Will hears himself respond, throat dry and, heck, did he leave on the heater?
“Then, you’ll get a hundred.”, Mike murmurs, slowly but firmly pressing his lips against Will’s jaw, “You’ll get as many as you want. And anywhere you want, for that matter.”

Summary
“Shut the fuck up.”, Will whispers because he can’t, he just can’t deal with Mike’s confusing ass right now. The soft light is illuminating Mike’s features, jaw carved out so perfectly, cheekbones high, eyes so dark Will feels like they’re swallowing him. “You are, too.”, he adds.
“Prettier than your lame boyfriend?”, Mike ask, voice somehow careful and urgent at the same time.
“Mike…” Will shivers a little, not sure what to do with himself. It’s ridiculous for Mike to actually believe Will has a boyfriend; if that were the case, he would’ve never stepped a foot into this bed. But somehow, Mike’s need to come out on top compared to the guy he is supposedly dating makes Will break out in goosebumps all over.
“That’s not a no.”, Mike remarks.
“That’s not a no.”, Will whispers, scared to move at all and break the moment.
A soft grin plays at the corner of Mike’s mouth, “Oh, yeah?”
“Yeah.”, Will nods, “But you knew that already.”

Summary
He knows, it’s all his fault. He knows. But there are tears stinging in his eyes and he calls Will again, because how the hell is he supposed to figure this out on his own? He calls again, and again, and again, and again, until Will picks up.
“Mike. Let it go. It’s almost morning, you should sleep. Why can’t you do as I ask and not call me?”
Mike swallows, voice coming out as a pathetic croak, “Will. Will, I can’t lose you. I can't-” The tears that have been burning in his eyes impatiently, finally roll down his cheeks in fat, slow, drops.

Will needs time away from Mike, time to focus on college and time to get over his unrequited feelings. For the first time, Mike is not the one to push Will away and he cannot stand the feeling. He ends up calling Will, even though he asked him not to, desperate to get him back. It's not too late, is it?

Summary
Will ignores a timid reply from his classmate, his focus fully on this strange interloper that could be his best friend’s twin.
Evil twin, as Dustin would say, his voice low and incriminating. Ultraman type shit. Will considers relaying the situation on their upcoming weekly call to make the current situation less unsettling.
The guy is cautiously smiling back now – a reflection of Will’s unconscious expression at the thought of Dustin’s clarification – and it doesn’t falter, even once Will loses his amusement. Instead, the grin widens, almost too big for his face and definitely too big for Mike’s usual range of expression. His eyebrows rise above the rim of his lenses.
