“Malfoy? Are you okay?”
'Obviously he's not, you bint' said a voice deep in her brain. She pushed it aside as he swung around, his wand raised and his eyes blazing. “Whoa! I’m not going to...Put your wand down!”
He stared at her, his eyes wide with horror as he continued to shake, so much so that his wand slipped out of his hand and clattered to the floor. Without thinking, Y/N reached into her pocket and flung her wand away, holding her hands up.
“I’m not going to try anything. I promise.”
As she drew closer, she could see the remnants of tears on his wet cheeks and the way that his silver eyes were rimmed with a bloodshot red.
“You shouldn’t be here,” he hissed, his voice weak and cracking.
“Er...neither should you. This is the girl’s bathroom.”

Summary
An unfortunate event leads modern day Y/N to travel to Middle Earth with strange markings on her arms and no memory of how she got there. As she struggles to collect her memories and come to terms on whether or not she's dreaming a familiar recurring dream, she also finds that she's able to receive visions. Intrigued by the marks she carries, Thorin and Company decide to bring her with them as they embark on their adventure to reclaim their homeland. It doesn't take Y/N long to realize that this is no dream and that the dangers are very much real, but luckily there are those who have already took it upon themselves to look after her. But somewhere along the way, that duty of protection grows into something deeper. When Y/N's memories finally return and her purpose becomes clear, will her love for the Dwarves she's grown fond of be enough to alter the course of fate or will she need to put her own duty first?

Cast away in the world of The Hobbit, (Y/N) must find her purpose in this new realm. She knows how this story ends, but perhaps she can fix it. she knows that if the fates really wanted the line of Durin to end she wouldn't succeed. In the brief time she has known them there has been an inexplicable draw and it only gets stronger. However once the elves of Mirkwood capture them things change, Thranduil knows what she is and (Y/N) finds herself drawn to these elves as well. Despite this need, this pull that now encompasses four males she keeps her mission in the forefront of her mind. Save the line of Durin, She will succeed or die trying.
