"What can I say?" the man says, shrugging. "I'm a fan. 'Hawks,' right? Or is it 'Phoenix?'"

The man grins. "You can call me 'Dabi.' Though I suppose it won't matter much longer." The click of a revolver being cocked sounds through the room, drawing Hawks' eyes to the gun held by the man's hip, pointed straight at him.
"Now," Dabi says, holding out his other hand. "If you'd just hand over that envelope you were showing off a few minutes ago, I'll be on my way."

Hawks’ eyes widened dramatically and he sucked in a sharp breath. “Excuse me?” He choked out.

Summary
Training with the commission was always intense for Hawks. They expected nothing but the best out of him and gave harsh punishments if they felt he was underperforming. What was left after over a decade of said training was, in their eyes, the perfect hero. This was all Hawks knew before he had gotten the mission to infiltrate the Paranormal Liberation Front, before he met the original League of Villains, before he met Dabi.
The hero latches onto Dabi like the man was a river and he was dying of thirst and has to figure out how to deal with the sudden, foreign feelings. Will these feelings get in the way of his job?
This is the story of how Hawks finds his freedom through Dabi
