Isack sits there. Unable to do anything, the team apologises and tries to be positive, tries to show support, but Isack just steps out and goes through the corridor. He tries to hide the tears that push through his eyes like his thoughts

Max breaks into that full bodied laugh again, cheeks going bright red and nose scrunching up. “Everybody is an asshole. At least I’m honest.”
That word. Honest. It bugs Charles, irks him a bit to hear Max throw that word around so blatantly when Charles knows otherwise. Max is never honest about the things that matter.
