Summary
Miles already hates the month of December enough for all that it brings up, from the invasion of Christmas music to heart tearing panic inducing nightmares.
Sure, Miles’ nightmares have improved largely since when he was in his early years after the incident.
Sure, Miles has Phoenix and Trucy to give his mind peace and joy from all their wonderful shenanigans during the Christmas season.
And sure, Miles knows there isn’t much that can pull him back into those horrible horrible moments of pure agony and despair since Phoenix is always there with a hug and kisses…
Yet just being horribly horribly sick ends up enhancing the pain in more ways than one, even when logic and time says you’ve healed.
And it doesn’t help that you said something stupid to your husband and now he’s ignoring you…
(Or, I enjoy Edgeworth suffering and decided to make him sick during his all time least favorite month of the year and during a certain anniversary with a certain frustrated husband who refuses to acknowledge him.)
