The other boy was beaten all over. His lip was split and bleeding, his nose dripping and clearly broken, and his cheeks swollen. It was uncanny; it was wrong.
And yet, he was still smiling.
And then Purpled was running, across the room and straight at the other teen.

Now, there was a chance that he was reading this wrong, but Tommy's eyes were on his lips and usually he wasn't impulsive, but—
