After a few years he married frigga and had thor.
Thor is 19 now and loki is 28. Loki is bitter. He decides to kidnap Thor. He has been planning on this . On a state visit to borderlands Thor is warned not to leave security detail behind but he does anyways and goes for a joy ride in the cold mountains. But loki has laid a trap. He has changed the signage to make Thor enter jotunheim. So he gets a credible reason to detain Thor. -

Summary
Many newcomers-turned-prisoners often found themselves in the personal care of the Grandmaster, and the usual method of presenting them to the Elder was strapped in a chair and obedience disked. Not Thor. Thor was brought in standing in the middle of a circular frame-like holding device, his arms and legs spread and shackled to the frame, his torso bare. When he emerged from the Tunnel of Terror he was bellowing and shivering. Loki knew Thor as he knew himself, perhaps even better than he knew himself, but at that moment he truly didn't know if Thor was shivering with fear or fury.
Loki found he was happy to see Thor; he had never wanted Thor to die, just for him to shine with a little less brightness, burn a little less golden. A satisfied, savage voice in the back of his mind crowed that Thor did love attention, and he was getting it in spades now.

Summary
Odin, instead of banishing Thor to Midgard, strips him of all the facets of his identity as Prince Thor of Asgard, sentencing him to live as a mute thrall in Asgard until he proves himself worthy. Loki convinces their father to put Thor in Loki's service. Thor isn't best pleased about his little brother being his 'master', and Loki is a little too pleased about it. The situation gives them both perspective on each other, the chance to mend their frayed brotherhood, and the opportunity for them to realize they have some less than brotherly feelings for each other.
Also, there's the little matter of Loki's parentage and Loki becoming king when Odin falls into the Odinsleep, and Thor is in the Vault this time.

Summary
Thor went after Loki as he fell from the Bifrost, and the pair ended up in Jotunheim. Thor drained his powers keeping them alive in the void and left himself mortal-weak. Loki has an idea for how to use Thor to gain power in Jotunheim, but they have to survive first. Thor doesn't know Loki plans to betray him, Loki doesn't know Thor isn't the awful brother and person he believes him to be.
They're both going to learn.

A magical being steals Thor's hammer and power, rendering the god of thunder essentially human. The team dynamic disrupted, and his place within it, Thor struggles to remind himself what worthy even means. If the hammer no longer answers to him, then what place does he have here, or anywhere?
