Alex looked over at Charlie in the drivers seat, his face mostly dark except for the small glare of moonlight on his skin, an the rare headlights of a passing car.
“You’re pretty,” Alex said.
“Pretty what?”
“You’re pretty, you know, good looking, cute, beautiful, adorable, handsome, other synonyms,” Alex said, then chuckled.
