Summary
There was one thing in the movie that bugged me- the fact that Craig was older than in the show; as in when he first moved to Herkleton when in the show, it's shown that he's been here for years. So, this is my take on the prequel movie and what would've happened. (And I barely see any works with Serena; actual summary is below.)

In the summer, the kids play in the creek, and when the sousaphone is played, they leave for dinner; But not little 5yr old Craig. He refuses to go out and play because he recently moved here and misses his old home. That would remain this way, until he was persuade out(for pizza) and meets a certain 13yr captain and her crew.
