Rich people don’t get ordinary people. Mikage Reo is the prime example of this phenomenon. Kings don’t get jesters, aristocrats don’t get villagers, and Mikage Reo don’t get Nagi Seishiro.

Just for a day. I want peace. I like your smile, but your energy is tiring.
Mikage Reo’s expression morphs into frown, then into confusion, ultimately, into frown again. He raises his downcast eyes.
“I thought it was just the anger talking,” he whispers. The tone gradually gets crankier. “But you truly want me gone. You say you don’t hate me, but it is hard to believe when you talk like this.”
“I don’t hate you,” Nagi repeats. “I don’t feel much about you.”

Or, Nagi Seishiro wishes he had never met Mikage Reo, and his wish comes true.
