Never thought he would live past 17 on the day he made his decision in that cave that he was letting go
Never thought he would survive in that house all on his own
Never thought he would be in front of one of the most feared men in the whole wizarding world asking for his guidance.
To be fair he doesn’t even think any of this is real, all he knows is that the world will pay for what they did to him.
It will pay for all the pain, suffering and agony he went through.
Because for all he cares, the whole world can burn, burn like the child within him that died all those years ago.
Burn like the love he once thought could save him but ignited something so much more dangerous.
Burn like the body that was in front of him and was his very limit.
Yes this is all real, and Regulus enjoys the satisfaction that he’s the one causing it. Enjoys that he’s the one pulling the strings.
For once in his life he has the choice…
