Summary
I've played Republic Commando more than I ought to admit,and after 18 years I've decided to give my self closure on the whole Sev situation. I've tried to sort out the calendar using the Karen Traviss books and Wookiepedia, but if you see issues please let me know!
Same with planets and species, I've spent a lot of time researching but I usually write when I should be sleeping so I'm open to help if you see anything amiss.

Summary
Under pressure from the WAC, the Military launched a program to test just how effective these new female soldiers are in combat. They hoped to keep the WAC sweet and maybe get a few pretty faces in uniforms to sell war bonds. What they hadn't expected was the fact that we were capable of doing more.
Sophie Reid thought she had her life planned out. But the war left no family unscathed. Joining the program was a means to escape the events that had torn her family apart. Training was one thing though throwing yourself out of a plane into a war zone was another. In many ways that turned out to be the easy bit.

She looked at him finally, tucked her sleek red hair behind her ear as she turned to walk backwards eying him in a way he couldn't quite place. "You're the Barnes boy. Mrs. Lewis told me to watch out for you." She looked pleased with herself, thinking she'd got some sort of upperhand.
Still grinning Bucky picked up his pace, just so he could step past her and lean down close and say, "Funny, she told me the same thing about you."
