    “What is it, Spiderman? You okay?”
    “I’m fine but…I think we might have a ghost fighting on our side.”
    “Impossible.” Thor interrupted. “Ghosts hate the living.”
    “Yeah well one just saved my life and made a joke about New York’s rat problems.”
    Silence over the radio.

    Or, New York City isn't prepared for a ghostly invasion. The Avengers are finally all in the same place again. Thor and Bruce are back from space with a semi-reformed chaos god and a thousand refugees in tow. Steve and the Rogues have got their pardons and are ready to start being heroes again. But Tony isn't ready trust, neither is his new protegee Spiderman. The fractured team can't seem to come together. It's a good thing then that Danny Phantom is ready to save the day. That doesn't mean anyone is prepared for when he keeps showing up.

    Danny stared in amazement at the gothic architecture of the school, rich with tradition and knowledge. The school was founded a good two hundred years ago. Sam would totally adore the buildings. Finally he could start fresh. No ghosts, no ghost hunters, and none of his parents' antics would follow him here. Maybe he’d join a fraternity and make some new friends. He’d attend lectures and walk the old campus courtyard. He’d idle the day away in the gothic library devouring books on astronomy and the universe. Danny had reveries about his potential college life, only he imagined Tucker and Sam in that future.

    Orientation commenced, with the President giving a lengthy speech about the Yale motto and legacy. A bit monotonous for Danny and he yawned. The first day went so smoothly, until an unwanted ghost almost destroyed the dorm and wrecked his life. Also known as the day Danny almost got expelled. On the freakin. First. Day.
