Alexander Hamilton was trying to stay alive. He really was. But everything was so cold and blurry. He wanted to close his eyes, just for a minute.
He was alone.
There had been others with him, but everyone eventually left or died.
So here he was, on the roof of what appears to be the remains of a liquor store, with no way out and snow beginning to fall.
Two years surviving the apocalypse to die from hypothermia.
Just his luck.

Alexander Hamilton arrived from the Caribbean as a kid. Years later he moves with his foster father to a little town where everyday is just as the other. He is sure that there has to be more than this provincial life.
John Laurens is cursed and he is running out of time, but he has accepted it, because no matter how much he tries or how sorry he is. For who could ever learn to love a beast?

Alexander had a bad feeling.
He couldn't exactly pinpoint what it was, but it felt like a void inside him. He tried to call John, his fiancé, but the phone sent him to voicemail. It was probably nothing, so Alex took a deep breath and decided to busy himself with his writing. He walked to the living room, opened his notebook and started to write.
But the feeling didn't go away.
