It never really occurred to her to think of him as human. He was so extraordinary, so larger-than-life, so seemingly omnipotent and damn near indestructible, the idea that he was just a human like any other was almost laughable. She'd gone to him ready to be angry, ready for a fight, instead she was forced to confront the idea that maybe he wasn't so different from her after all.
