“I’m home.”
The words echo in the small genkan, bouncing off the barren grey walls. Katsuki gets no response, as it was to be expected, and continues shedding off his outside clothes. Heavy boots land on the rack with a resounding thud, followed by the rustle of his coat.
It’s quiet in the apartment, but not in the once-all-too-familiar quiet it used to be. When Katsuki could at least hear the steady breathing of another person inside it, the low murmur of a voice he used to seek out in a sea of people, along with the faint beating of two hearts in sync.
All that was stripped from his – once theirs – apartment the day Shouto left.
-or, Bakugou and Shouto break up, and a fit of jealousy on Katsuki's part gets them back together.
