It all started with a Team 7 chakra sensing mission.
Boruto and Sarada discover how bound together they are. From teasing to lingering glances, their relationship begins to evolve into something they cannot describe. Filled with longing, yearning, and tender realizations over the years, they slowly come to understand what they mean to each other.
This will be a multi-chapter work that will follow Boruto and Sarada from right before the Ao arc in Naruto Next Generations into Two Blue Vortex and beyond/post canon.

Summary
From an early age, Sarada and Boruto spent their Christmases at the family’s cozy chalet in a small village where snow fell faithfully every December. Those magical days skiing, ice skating, and being surrounded by the people they loved most turned Christmas into Sarada’s favorite holiday.
That year, however, everything felt different. Everyone seemed to be bringing a romantic partner along — including Boruto’s newly eighteen-year-old sister and even his ex, now dating his brother. As if that weren’t enough, their eccentric neighbor Ada once again set her sights on Boruto, despite being married.
Determined not to be the only one alone on Christmas night, Boruto casually tells his mother he’ll be bringing a girlfriend. The problem? He doesn’t have one. Worse, she assumes the girlfriend is Sarada —his best friend and her dream daughter-in-law.
Now, amid Christmas traditions, misunderstandings, and falling snow, Boruto must convince his best friend that it’s all just a harmless Christmas pretend—and that their friendship will survive it. But the hardest part may be admitting what has always been right in front of them: that true love might have begun long before that Christmas.
