What’s a golden sage to do when he crash lands past a rather powerful barrier into a territory owned by another monkey like himself with his student/cub under the threat of getting taken from him? Surely he can’t be falling for the brooding Spirit King of the Macaques after being given a ‘threat’ to play nice under the barrier was naturally thinner to let him and his cub leave. Yep there is no way this golden sage was going to listen to his monkey brain screaming at him to submit and have the Spirit King’s cubs
