Jake's friends are werewolves, which is as insane as it sounds. Jake, on the other hand, is just a puny little human. This difference in species comes with a lot of other disparities— like strength. And, as is often the case with such a big difference in power (something his friends seem to constantly forget), accidents are bound to happen.
Despite this, Jake would rather endure a thousand more accidents with his friends than ever face a feral werewolf again.
