Regulus leaned up again for a kiss, gently running his hands across James’s chest before nimbly slipping his fingers beneath James’s shirt. James shuddered at the feeling of cold palms sliding upward, swallowed nervously at the sensation of warm lips at his jawline.
“James,” Regulus pulled back, something stern pulling his lips down into a frown. Perhaps James wasn’t as good at hiding his discomfort as he thought. “What was that?”
“What was what?” James replied, dipping down to hide his face in Regulus’s neck via some well-timed and very distracting kisses.
“That,” Regulus huffed in fond exasperation as he began poking at James’s torso. “You’re all tensed up.”
“No, I’m not.”
OR: james doesn't know that he's allowed to say no. he just wants to make his boyfriend happy.

Hate was an intense emotion. More intense than love and passion, more intense than unstable emotional bonds. Hate was eternal; it burned in the veins and never cooled, marked its presence in the human mind, and rooted itself in the heart like a weed. Hate was fuel for feeling. That is why Andrew hates Neil Josten.
He hates the stupid grin, the breathy, hoarse laugh, the glacial blue eyes like mystical icebergs, the dark skin in the exact shade of reddish-brown that makes Andrew wish he knew how to paint, just to capture that beauty on a canvas. Andrew hates Neil Josten because loving him wouldn't be enough. It bordered on ridiculous how one simple boy could take up so much space in his mind, how his heart wildly destabilized because of a low chuckle in the school parking lot, how his homosexual, poetic, and lovesick mind raced toward romantic verses that would make his literature teacher applaud with pride.
He hates Neil so much he can’t help the desire to protect him from all the idiots who don’t understand his depth. Neil Josten was more than his one-sided crush; he was his favorite person in the world.
