Charlotte Heywood is unlucky in love, the man she thought she loved is engaged to someone else. She impulsively embarks on a Christmas holiday to Sanditon, where she meets a widower with two girls in his care... an homage to the Sanditon series and the movie "The Holiday."
Warning to Sidlotte fans: Sidney is Season 1 Sidney mixed with Jasper from the holiday, which means he breaks Charlotte's heart, and this is a Heybourne story, *not* a Sidlotte one.

What could have happened if Charlotte Heywood had said just a little bit more than "a last goodbye" while sitting next to Alexander Colbourne at Lady Denham's canceled wedding? This one shot alternative extended scene arose out of a convo on reddit about things which we may have changed about S3E6. I adored Sanditon and its ending, but thought this might be fun (My first and only FanFic to date--rated G).
