Sandor could have run that shit through when he heard him say that his little bird had been married off to the imp of all people. Granted… he had never particularly disliked Tyrion… but… this was his little bird he was talking about. As it stood, he was just trying to make his way back from the Quiet Isle. He knew he’d be more than likely killed if he were caught – for deserting though he’d never actually sworn an oath to that cunt nor his shit family. Well… he’d sworn his service to Tywin but that asshole had long since stopped holding his leash. Now… he swore himself to one and only one. His little bird.
Or...
Sandor learns of Sansa's marriage to Tyrion and then Littlefinger's procurement of her and decides to rescue her. But of course, she ends up "rescuing" him instead.

Summary
Fate brought them together in King's Landing only to pull them apart during the Battle of the Blackwater. With Sandor on the Quiet Isle and Sansa in the Eyrie, they both begin to feel the fates accelerating them towards one another once again. Sandor takes his fate in his own hands and decides to leave the Quiet Isle in search of his Little Bird.
**Update (September 2020): This fic was the first fanfic I ever wrote, so it will always have a special place in my heart. As of now, I do not plan on finishing it. I'm happy with where it left off, but I will consider this a complete work. I won't leave the door entirely shut, but for now I will leave this as it is. Thank you to all who read this story and enjoyed it over the years!
