Donghyuck and Chenle would have had great advice for this whole situation, probably. Chenle was so pragmatic, and Donghyuck was most likely to have had a friend of an ex-boyfriend’s friend who was in a poly relationship with his college professor or something ludicrous. And meeting Mark felt like the solution to finally breaking through the mental block he had for sharing this situation with his friends. They’d have all the same questions about Mark as he had. It’d be so much easier to get their perspectives if Renjun was armed with the full picture.
He wanted Mark in frame.
And Jaemin wanted Mark’s girlfriend to be there, too.

Or, Renjun goes on a date with beautiful, successful Jaemin, only to learn he’s poly and in a committed relationship with Mark Lee. He chooses to keep seeing him, getting to know Mark, Mark’s girlfriend, and the life they’ve built together, one that Renjun never expected to want so strongly to be apart of.
