    When Jim Kirk is summoned to Starfleet Headquarters for a hearing regarding his fight with four cadets, two of which that got serious injuries, his trip makes an unexpected turn. Spock, a cadet himself, manages to turn his world around after planting some thoughts in his head that maybe he has a different future than one spent in jail cells and court rooms.

    AKA a difference sequence of events where Pike wasn't present at the fight and someone else had to convince Jim joining Starfleet could be possible. An Academy AU.
