Summary
For Roxas Strife, a 19 year old art student, life can't really get much worse. Still reeling from the sudden death of his father and his mother leaving, he's forced to grow up rather fast in order to take care of his two younger siblings. One of which isn't really making his life the easiest. He has to balance school, a job, plus his brother and sister, and he's beginning to slip through the cracks a little.
Enter Axel Brenton, a 20 year old culinary student who's little sister happens to be best friend's with Roxas' little sister. Roxas thinks he's a total prick due to how persistently he hits on him, and for a while, he wants absolutely nothing to do with him. But Axel makes that a little bit impossible. When Roxas actually looks beneath the cocky exterior, he finds that maybe, just maybe, they aren't all that different at all.
Life gets rough sometimes, but there will always be someone there to catch you when you fall.
