Grace stuttered slightly before asking, “What is your name?” He felt it was only right, the only response he could offer.
Tears welled in the corners of his eyes, but the stranger’s lips twitched upwards ever so slightly, like Grace lifted a hundred pounds from his shoulders simply by asking him the first thing you would ask a new acquaintance. Something so simple clearly meant the world. The stranger almost sighed deeper into Grace’s arms as he muttered, “Si…mon,” before his eyes closed.
