After playing ddakji with a slightly luckier Seong Gi-Hun, the Salesman can’t get him out of his mind. It's impossible to resist obsessing over that pitiful, pathetic man. He begins to follow him on his own time, stalking him like he’s being paid to. Eventually confronted with the situation, Gi-Hun has a choice to make: report him and return to his calm, typical life, or give in to the feelings that have been buried inside him for so long.

In an attempt to get the Arkenstone back for Thorin, Bilbo discovers the ring he's been using is the One Ring. Seized by a need to destroy gold, especially gold with the ability to ensnare creature and king alike, he sets out alone for Mordor. Anything to forget about the love that gold cost him.
What he doesn't know is that Thorin is no longer under the thrall of gold, and is desperately racing to catch up with him to keep him safe.
They may have just started on another adventure, but this one may not end as well as their first quest.

Post Bofa: no one is dead but Bilbo is still exiled from Erebor, bearing the hatred of his love and his friends. When Bilbo is at his weakest, the One Ring attempts to take control of it. It wants to return to its master no matter the cost. Thus Bilbo is plagued with sinister whispers of a place called Dol Guldur where reminents of Sauron remain. But will those who first provoked Bilbo's poor mental state realise their mistake and come aid their small friend in his time of need? Or will Bilbo succumb to the Ring's will?
