Summary
After the ugly truth was laid bare, every broken piece of his soul, every part of his shame, open for judgement and rejection, when tears were still as fresh as the rivers that ran through Zozah, Olruggio had taken his face in his hands instead, his forehead rested against his own in an ardent mirror of their secret handshake, and asked for no more lies — therefore, Qifrey couldn’t stop the words from tumbling; from spilling out involuntarily:
“I want you to fuck me in the Great Hall.”
Olruggio let go of his face while his eyes widened, lips closed tight, as Qifrey gasped, quickly slapping his hand over his mouth.
On a visit to the Great Hall, Olruggio and Qifrey find a hidden corner to fulfil an old fantasy of defiling the Great Hall. During their tryst, someone catches them in the act.

Summary
Qifrey is sick of needing time. He hungers; at night, in absent moments when no one else is looking, he lays a hand on his hip and imagines that it is Olruggio's touch, that it stays firm through the flinch and the panic, that Olruggio lets Qifrey force his way through waiting for roots to tighten so that he can now, finally, take.
After a lifetime of associating physical comfort with certain death, intimacy poses a new and frustrating hurdle.

Summary
Wine, decor, and candies all had a sense of decorum about them, at least. Propriety. Those were like catching someone’s eye from across a ballroom, coyly weaving through the crowd to their side, and holding out a hand for a dance as the next song began to play, clearly announcing unspoken intentions.
Gifting a set of near-translucent sleepwear was about as proper as grabbing that person by the shoulders and shoving a tongue down their throat.
And for Olruggio to have accepted such a thing?
