Summary
Lordaeron's prodigal prince has returned and plunges the venerable Human kingdom into a brutal civil war. He calls himself the Lich King and is rumored to lead an army of the undead. Ranger General Sylvanas Windrunner plans to defend her people from the upstart prince once he finishes of the remaining lords of Lordaeron.
As the news gets more and more dire, it is clear that the coming war might not bode well for her and her people. That is, until Prince Kael'thas drops an unexpected ally off at her command center during a day of preparing for the war.
Jaina Proudmoore, Arch Mage of the Kirin Tor, Heir to the Admiralty of Kul Tiras and Grand Admiral of its Grand Fleet and Army. Furthermore, she has established a small city-state on Kalimdor full of refugees from the crumbling kingdom. Now, she is in Quel'thalas with a fleet and army at her back.
Will the two be able to work together to stop the Lich King, or will they forfeit their lives and those of their people in trying to stop him. Lastly, will they discover unexpected comradery and comfort in each other?
