Summary
When Javier Escuella died in 1911, he died a regretful man. Instead of being sent to the eternal prison of agony he'd deserved, Javier wished he could have made up for his mistakes and not leave his brothers to die. Fate granted him a second chance, and he was sent back to Colter, having to stand by the men he'd betrayed...
The reasoning for this fic. The problem with Javier, he'd absorbed Dutch's teachings too blindly to be his own man, becoming a blind follower when he could be so much more. He'd made excuses for Dutch and Micah in Blackwater, betraying his brothers when they'd needed him. I do believe he could have been saved because he didn't want to fight or kill John, even when he was down in RDR1, unlike Dutch. I imagine he's quite deadly in RDR1, a cold killer and one of the best bounty hunters at that time.
