Summary
Wei Wuxian surprises his accidental husband with a trip to Lotus Pier and Lan Wangji learns that his spouse of two years forgot to tell his family that he's married. He also neglected to tell him that his use of Resentful Energy is slowly eating away at his spiritual and physical health. So, Lan Wangji does the only logical thing--He drags Wei Wuxian by the flute to see his immortal grandmother with the help of his uncle--who is a cat. This is definitely NOT what Wei Wuxian planned.

The Vulcan already had a strong sense of disdain for this entire ordeal he had managed to get himself into. He didn’t need something like this. He didn’t. While he didn’t judge the humans aboard the Enterprise for their own psychological appointments, he was a Vulcan. Everything he may need to be solved could be done with some meditation.

Spock has been struggling with being on a ship full of brashly emotional humans as a telepath. But when they meet an alien race who don't ping his telepathy at all, he (and Jim) may have run into more than they bargained for.
Or, Jim's mind feels so much nicer than anyone else's, and now Spock has to deal with that.

“You mean… The biology of Vulcans?” Jim repeated his words almost exactly, slowly realizing their true meaning. “Biology as in… reproduction?”
A chill ran down Jim’s spine.
It wasn’t exactly convenient that Spock’s situation concerned Vulcan reproduction. They were on Earth long before First Contact, and the only two people in the city who knew about the existence of Vulcan were Jim and Spock, making the latter the only person familiar with the mysterious biological ailment he himself was suffering. No, this wasn’t convenient at all. It was very, very bad.Or: what if Spock went through his first pon farr in New York City circa 1930 while he and Jim waited for McCoy's arrival?

"I think he'll be glad we're keeping each other company," Leonard agreed, checking his comm even though he knew Jim was probably busy. "He might start getting ideas about all three of us hanging out together, god forbid," he joked.
Leonard is Jim’s partner. So is Spock. So they’d better get comfortable with each other.
