In their world of quirks, powers and villains. There was also the knowledge of soulmarks. After many research over the decades scientists they managed to make many conclusions over the concept of soul marks and it was:
One, you first receive your rank, soul marks and bonds on your fifth birthday.
Two, if you have your soul mark on your left wrist, it means your of Dom rank and can use commands.
Three, if you have your soul mark on your right wrist, it means you Sub rank and are susceptible to Dom commands and can get pregnant.
Four, if you have soul bonds on your back, those show you have parental soul mates.
Five, if you have soul bonds on your chest, those show you how many soulmates your destined to have in life.
Six, if you don't have a band on either wrist but have have soul bonds on your back or chest that means your a Neutral.

Katsuki had always been mistreated and neglected by his parents for being born as a Sub with a lengthy amount of parental and soul mate marks.

Summary
When something finally happens, it takes him a minute to realise that it's actually a thing that requires his attention, because for a moment, all he sees are sparks on a rooftop.
Which could be nothing at all, teenagers fooling around with fireworks at best, and a flayed cable at worst, or maybe even some villains getting up to some more nefarious shenanigans, and that means it's definitely something Shouta should check out.
He touches down on the rooftop, silent and careful, in case it's something more sinister than at first assumed and then he can do nothing but blink because that's a kid.
That's a wet, shivering, small child on the top of a house in the middle of the night on a Saturday.
Something is definitely wrong.

Summary
Hitoshi and he are being watched, Katsuki can tell. He would accuse all of the squad of it, but whenever he looks up, it's only ever Ei's eyes he meets, so Katsuki has to admit that it's probably just him.
It wouldn't be anything, normally, but the squad has been weird around them lately and Hitoshi's shoulders keep climbing up to his ears, even though this was supposed to be a safe space for him.
Katsuki bumps their shoulders together and even though Hitoshi doesn't relax, he slightly turns towards him.
"It's fine," Katsuki says under his breath and it's easy to spot the signs of stress on Hitoshi's face.

Summary
Hitoshi feels sick with nerves as he opens the door to his parent's home. He must look like it, too, because Katsuki stops him before he can really enter the hallway.
"We don't have to do this," he quietly says, one warm, steady hand on Hitoshi's arm and just that makes some of the tension leak out of him. "We don't have to explain ourselves."
It's true—they don't. It's no one's business what their relationship is like, not really, but the thought of his parents continuously referring to them as boyfriends makes Hitoshi almost more sick than the thought of setting the record straight and that alone is probably indication enough that they really do have to do this.
"I couldn't stand it if they continue to—I can't," he gets out and Katsuki nods in understanding.
