    Summary

Wednesday Addams doesn’t lie. She doesn’t date. And she definitely doesn’t fake-date her glitter-wielding college nemesis to survive a chaotic holiday season.

But when she runs into Enid Sinclair—sunshine personified, chronic over-texter, and the girl who once destroyed her thesis with a tray of weaponized cupcakes—Wednesday finds herself agreeing to something unthinkable: pretending to be Enid’s girlfriend for a week-long family wedding-slash-Christmas extravaganza.

It’s supposed to be simple. Clean. Clinical.

No feelings. No flirting. No catching herself staring when Enid laughs too loudly or bites her lip when she’s nervous.

But with one bed, nosy relatives, emotional landmines, and a town full of people who really want them to kiss under mistletoe, Wednesday starts to realize: the hardest part isn’t faking the relationship.

It’s remembering it’s supposed to be fake.

    Summary

Wednesday’s knee nudged Enid’s, slow. The hand on her thigh inched a fraction higher and stilled, asking without words. The question was a heat line up Enid’s spine.

Enid made a small sound and put her palm over Wednesday’s hand, not to move it away, just to feel it there.

“You’re doing that on purpose,” she whispered.

    “Yes.”

“You like watching me fall apart, don't you?”

    “Also yes.”

Enid’s cheeks went pink. She stared at their joined hands like they were a problem set she could solve if she wasn’t on fire.

“Can I… kiss you?” she asked, because asking had turned into a trick that always, always worked.

“You can,” Wednesday said, already leaning in.

    Summary

By pure luck, she accidentally spotted blonde hair out of the corner of her eye. And not just any blonde hair, the same blonde hair with pink and blue streaks that had offered her champagne at the airport.

“Oh my god, hi!” The blonde beamed at her when Wednesday approached her directly. “I haven’t seen you here before, are you new? I can totes help you! If you need me to show you around, I can do that too! You approached the right person for the job. Don’t worry, the homeless shelter isn’t that scary.”

“You could say so.” Wednesday replied flatly, doing a once-over. “You are a very hard woman to track down, Kara Danvers. Or should I say, Enid Sinclair.”

Like clockwork, all of the color basically drained from Enid’s face.

Wednesday gets scammed out of her bag by Enid in broad daylight, which leads her to track the girl down.

    Summary

Wednesday Addams built an empire from ashes.
She doesn’t do grief. Doesn’t do company. Doesn’t do kindness.
But the waitress from her favorite diner—with the too-bright smile and the texts she never answers—just lost everything. And Wednesday doesn’t know how to watch that happen twice.

Enid Sinclair has spent five years surviving.
She’s learned how to pack her whole life into a bag, how to fold herself small enough to be tolerated, how to smile even when she’s breaking.
She’s never had a place that was hers. Never had someone stay.

Until the night she sends one final text.
And Wednesday shows up—in a black car, from a world Enid’s never been allowed into, offering safety like it costs her nothing.

    Bookmarker's Notes

Enid. Standing in the kitchen. Messy ponytail, one sock on, one sock off, biting into a strawberry with the most dramatic confused face imaginable.

    Caption:
    You’re not in here. 🤨

    Wednesday blinked. Smirked.

    Buzz.
    Another photo.

Enid now in front of the hallway mirror, pointing at her own reflection like it had personally betrayed her.

    Caption:
Still not you. Getting suspicious. 👀

Wednesday bit the inside of her cheek to suppress a smile. Her assistant walked past her office door at that exact moment and nearly tripped when Wednesday smiled at her monitor.

    Buzz.

    Photo.

Enid on the floor behind the couch, peeking out like a raccoon caught mid-heist.

    Caption:
Are you hiding from me? Bold move. 😤

    Buzz.

    Photo.

Enid in front of the massive penthouse windows, one hand on her forehead like she was waiting for a ship to return from sea.

    Caption:
I will stand here and pine if I have to. 🧍‍♀️🌆

    Wednesday:
Is this what you’re doing with your day off?

    Enid:
    I’m conducting an investigation.
You were last seen in my arms and now you’re not.
Some might call that suspicious behavior.

And just before Wednesday cleared the dishes, she reached over, wiped a bit of parmesan from Enid’s cheek with her thumb, and said, “Don’t move.”

    “Why?” Enid asked, still grinning.

    “I’m memorizing you like this.”

    “It’s scary.”

    “So is everything worth doing.”

    Summary

She freezes in her tracks when she sees her. A cute floral skirt just past her knees, a t-shirt tucked into it, and some remarkably well matched Keds all convey an almost Miss Honey-esque vibe. But what gets Regina most is the hair.

That familiar strawberry blonde, falling in gentle ringlets a bit past her shoulders. It’s shorter now than it was back then, but she has the front pieces twisted back like a crown just like she did that first day they met.

She turns, her floral skirt whirling after her, and smiles instinctively as she sees the two of them. Her eyebrows raise high on her forehead as she recognizes Regina before her. “Regina? Oh my god, it’s so good to see you!”

Before Regina knows how to react, Cady’s wrapping her in a tight, friendly hug. She’s still a head shorter than Regina. Just like in high school. “Cady Heron. As I live and breathe.”
