“Wait,” Will said in a harsh, croaky voice. He felt like his brain was dribbling out of his ears and he fell onto the couch with a small poof of air as he stared at Mike in such a hard daze that it was a wonder he didn’t pass out again. “I - what do you - “
They stared at each other.
The air was thick and suddenly it was like Will could taste ozone at the back of his tongue, like electricity was coating his mouth and didn’t leave any room to breathe, to think, and his voice was wobbly, uncertain, as he said, “what do you mean… other boys?”

Summary
Okay so this was totally an excuse for me to write flirty Will x flustered Mike because it’s my favourite thing ever. If you also enjoy that PLEASE consider reading “we all have a hunger (tell me what you need.)” it’s incredible writing and the tension is SO good. It’s only three chapters, but I swear it’s worth it!
So essentially, Will and Mike are 17 and about to attend one of Steve’s parties and Will turns up to Mike’s house in this very cool outfit with Jewellery and makeup. Mike has the biggest gay panic ever, which isn’t helped by Will’s rather sweet but suggestive flirting, and then Will decides Mike’s outfit needs a little extra something.
They end up awfully close while he makes his adjustments…

Summary
Will was all out of excuses to keep avoiding Mike. He didn’t think he’d be strong enough to keep avoiding Mike either way - not with Mike calling him everyday- but this feels entirely too soon, the memories still fresh. Will feels that if he even thinks about Mike he could feel the phantom of Mike’s fingers digging into his hips, his lips pressing into Wills’ pulse, the thickness of his hair between Wills’ fingers.
The Wheeler’s front door opens on its own, and Will jumps from where he’s standing, letting out a small yelp in surprise.

Will can't avoid Mike forever, and they talk about what happened the day they got high together.
