Summary
“Na, Daichi” Suga started, “do you like girls?”
“What?”Daichi had never considered something might be missing from his life. Why would he? He was a seventeen-year-old boy, he was the fierce captain of the now Nationals classified Karasuno Volleyball Club, his grades were great, he had lots and good friends, and he was in excellent physical condition. He could even reach his toes without bending his knees!
So when Suga’s question made him realise there was indeed something missing from his life and he started to look for whatever it was, he found a well and a crisis much deeper than he could deal with. He missed many, many things about himself.
Suga being the part he missed the most.
Fortunately, for every one of his just-discovered virtues, there were at least three people around to laugh at the cost of his well-nourished stupidity.

Summary
Daichi Sawamura is a third year high schooler in a tight spot. Between taking care of his family and trying to get into a good college, he's on a collision course with burn out and desperate to find help from any and everywhere. When he stumbles upon what looks like an unbelievable source of assistance late one night, he's just tired enough to give it a go. If anything, it'd be good for a laugh, right? He sure could use a laugh.
He learns very quickly that some things shouldn't be messed with.

Summary
Daichi starts moving again in slow motion, shoving Suga’s chopsticks out of the way to give him the last salmon maki. “Yeah,” he says, sounding exactly like practice-Daichi, but smiling like regular old Daichi Sawamura. “You could pull that off, Suga.”
“I have to,” Suga smiles back, exactly like practice-Suga would. If he can’t skate – if he can’t leave this on the ice, too – then Suga doesn’t know what home is anymore.
At twenty-eight, Suga decides to fool the public by becoming a phoenix in his short program, then dies his first death in the free skate.
