Summary
Upon returning from his legal matters against ACME, Wile. E. Coyote returns home and to his routine, knowing that even though he had lost the case, other cartoons had been encouraged to sue, and even though his case had not started with noble objectives, he was at peace with his conscience.
With the revelation that Road Runner considered him a friend and as the weeks went by, little by little, the Coyote began to realise that this new nickname in their relationship made him start to reconsider his situation and what it made him feel.
And of course, there was also the small detail that Road Runner, seeing that all these years his intentions had been misinterpreted, wanted to make it clear how much he cared for Coyote.
In general, it's a pretty cosy fic that I wrote to distract myself and avoid having a panic attack in public places due to overstimulation, so overall it's just a story of the two of them falling in love and having their own conflicts because of what this means, mainly short, nice, sweet chapters with some sexual tension, because I'm a damn fujoshi and it was inevitable.

"What are you talking about?" Bugs asks, throwing his hands into the air.
"And I'm taking the kids!"
"We don't have kids." Good comeback, Bugs.
"Then... Lola! I'm taking Lola with me. Tina, too. But that was obvious.” Once again, Daffy glares at Bugs with a deep-set frown between his eyes. “And Porky can come, I guess." He rolls his eyes at the last addition.
"Daffy. We're not married." He says it slowly, enunciating every syllable, remembering the lessons from his theater days. It’s all about projection.
"Then let's get married!"

"I didn't know you kept a diary." Is what breaks the silence while Daffy tries to turn the TV on. There is a high pitched squeak from his best friend's throat, a widening of his eyes, before he dismisses the comment with the wave of a hand.
"Pfft, cause I don't. I'm not a schoolgirl."
"Oh, I see." He turns another page. "Must be a different Daffy Duck."
"Mhm, must be." Daff agrees

Summary
A year after they became mates, Wile E decides (after being badgered by Paige for several weeks) that maybe he should propose to his lover. While it was more of a human tradition, he couldn't help but grow fonder of the idea.
Trouble is- a proposal and anniversary trip takes a great deal of planning...
and we know how Wile E's plans often go.
