“Home is any four walls that enclose the right person.” — Helen Rowland
The living room is filled with boxes, again, and Buck doesn’t even know where to start.

Summary
"I'm glad you're here for him," Eddie says from across the room. "I have to go back tomorrow."
He knows Eddie means well, but it rankles a bit. Tommy was there at the beginning. Before Evan, long before Eddie. He's mourning Bobby too, not just for Evan, but for himself.
Or,
Another episode coda to 8.15, since I can't stop obsessing about Buck and Tommy after Bobby's death.

Summary
When all traces of everything have been carefully put back to normal, Buck sits on the couch.
He's alone.
The firehouse is filling up with B-shift, because there's only so long that a firehouse can stay out of commission, even for the death of a captain.
The work doesn't stop, even if they did for a few days.
Buck barely registers any of it.

Summary
"Evan --" his voice is soft, broken, like he can't take in enough air to properly speak. Which is probably true, because Buck can now see the way he's hunched over and pinned by a piece of the frame bent into his side.
There's more blood, and Buck uses his one free one to press in on the wound, because after nearly a decade as a firefighter there are some things that he just does without thinking. Tommy cries out, and his head flops at a weird angle.
"I'm here, Tommy. I'm here, I've got you. We're going to get you out."
Tommy's eyes are glassy and his breath is shallow. The blood is still flowing over his hand, but it's lessened some. He can't move, can't let go of either of the two pieces of Tommy he's clutching, holding him together with the sheer force of his will.
It's only been a year since they met.
He can't settle for just one year.

Summary
It’s been three months, and in between everyone at Harbor telling him exactly how much of an idiot he is, realizing that his default when he needs someone to talk to is still pulling up his text conversation with Evan, and going on a handful of really awful dates, Tommy knows he’d fucked up.

Thanks to the unfortunate intersection of Danny's fist with the face of that smug bastard, Richardson, the fingers of his right hand are a little bit broken.

Summary
The facts were these. One day, three hours, seven minutes and six seconds ago one Madam Beatrice Bethany Comfort, owner, proprietor and, yes, Madam in the less respectable sense, of the famously infamous Madam Beatrice’s bordello, a brothel, walked into her boudoir to find a shocking scene.
