Summary
The day is January 1st, 2011, and Wally and Artemis need to deal with the aftermath of a kiss. Navigating this new dynamic isn't easy—particularly when their teammates take every chance they get to butt into their relationship—, but somehow, someway five years will turn them into retired, college-going superheroes in love. Slight language.
(Edit: this fic is unfinished and will unfortunately forever remain so. It makes it about eight months into the timeskip and a mini-arc does get resolved, but please read at your own discretion.)

Summary
Artemis has a fight with her mom over not wanting to force a “normal” family dinner for Thanksgiving.
Wally refuses to let her spend Thanksgiving alone in the cave and invites her to his family dinner despite still being mad at her for lying during their last mission.
Artemis knows it’s probably a bad idea but is curious as to what Wally’s family is like, and if, through them she can figure out why the speedster is the way that he is.

As she lowers the weapon, Ada Wong feels her whole world turning upside down.
Then it all comes back in a sudden moment, she blinks, air blown into her lungs like she has inhaled oxygen after drowning. Leon stands in front of her, hands fisted on each side of his body, the shadow of a smirk painted on his lips. He looks hopeful and it terrifies Ada.

"At first glance, the guy sitting across from Artemis is hardly screaming ‘ideal roommate.’ His foot has been incessantly tapping for the past three minutes, ricocheting off the floor at a frankly inhuman speed, and that’s in turn been causing his knee to shake so hard it rattles the little cafe table that they’re seated at. He seems like the kind of guy who talks faster than he thinks, and Artemis has a famously low tolerance for needless bullshit. He looks clean enough, maybe, but at the rate that he’s devouring the sandwich he’d purchased, Artemis is beginning to get genuinely concerned at the prospect of sharing a fridge with him, let alone dealing with dishes.
Wallace Rudolph West has all the makings to be a terrible roommate, but in all honesty, Artemis is out of options. Turns out, even in a city with a housing market as competitive as Gotham, there are a slim number of people desperately seeking an immediate move-in date in the middle of the month."
