Summary
Alicent Hightower, haunted by her past actions and the fractured relationship with Rhaenyra Targaryen, seeks solace and reflection. She finds herself traveling to Dragonstone on a mission Rhaenyra had sought her for mere days earlier.
Two queens fight for the ghost of what might have been, grappling with ways to regain what once was.
An unsettling rumbling cries for both of them to find another way, but they both thirst for different kinds of power set firmly in their chests.

Lena and Kara are grieving the loss of important parts of themselves. Now that they have a shot at a normal life, they choose to explore feelings they have denied for years. As they gravitate towards each other, they realize they have been running from something that will likely never fade.
Will Kara be able to keep Supergirl underground?
This is set after S6; It's my take because the last episodes have not aired, but this was inspired by the bts pictures of the cast wearing black.

And even if getting Rhaenyra in as a soloist was a staggering show of nepotism, she was still the best concert pianist on the planet. It was like when Dmitri Junior recorded Shostakovich’s second. You could get mad about it for a bit, but it was ultimately fair game. Alicent had already reached all these conclusions because Viserys had spoken to her weeks ago about programming the Concerto, which only had the unwanted effect of giving her time to turn it over in her brain like a particularly nauseating Rubix cube. Each solution of the puzzle led her to the same conclusion: she would be seeing Rhaenyra imminently, and there wasn’t a damn thing she could do about it.
After ten years apart, Rhaenyra Targaryen re-enters Alicent's life for a set of solo engagements with her orchestra. Things go about as well as expected (not very).

“I’ll buy you time to get away. I’ll find you at the next spot.” Rhaenyra’s voice cracks with the weight of her lie. She wipes tears from her eyes, stands up straighter, tries to believe it the next time. Alicent can’t be sure if she sees belief in her beautiful lavender eyes, but there is an unmistakable fury. “I’ll find you. Go!”

Summary
Rhaenyra doesn’t think it’s necessarily polite to swing through the open window of their ex-girlfriend’s apartment in the middle of the night just to bleed all over her couch, but it’s certainly better than the alternative. That said, when Alicent discovers them, she might just decide to finish what the explosion started, so Rhaenyra’s fate is still yet to be determined.

If Alicent ignores the absence of the ring on her finger, she might believe nothing had ever changed. That two years hadn’t passed since their divorce, since they succumbed, since Alicent made the decision for them both and Rhaenyra had accepted. That she was returning home with their children and they’d sit on the couch watching a film, the kids falling asleep on them. It could be like before, a team, a family.
