   Summary

   Raindrops splattered against the glass panes on the phone booth. Rody hadn’t even noticed the rain starting only focusing on the phone ringing over and over in his hand. It was a repetitive cycle at this point. Put in the money, dial her number, wait for her to pick up, get nothing, repeat. He lost count of how many times he had done this already. Once? Twice? Ten times? He was completely unsure. The one thing that brought him back to reality was the realization he had no more coins on him. He hung the phone back on the stand and stepped out, droplets of water splattering against his hair as he did so. He regretted not calling her from home now. He regretted calling her at all. If he hadn’t called her he wouldn’t have to face the reality of the situation, she didn’t want him. She left him. Rody couldn’t stand there anymore and went to the one place that he could think of.
