Fair warning to all. Daenerys is missing in the current arc, and it's frustrating, because you as a reader know they'll have to find her eventually.
Well, at least it's frustrating for me, because I want to fast forward to that point, but I understand the characters have limitations in what they can do currently. Growth is also needed, so the find feels earned.
There is character growth happening here for Sansa. Forgive me if I feel like hitting her upside the head sometimes though, but I also understand she's going through trauma, so that might be uncalled for. Just wish she'd treated Daenerys better instead of being too self-absorbed.
I think what I like most here is that Daenerys has become the aspirational hero here. It has become so because the reader can no longer read from Daenerys pov. It's an interesting route to take her character in here.
