Summary

“So, what you’re saying,” Jimin began, breaking the tentative silence that followed in the wake of Namjoon’s declaration, “is that we should mate Tae off to someone? Bring someone new into the pack to keep Tae here.”
“That’s a possibility,” Namjoon agreed, looking straight at Taehyung. “Yes.”
“No,” Yoongi argued. His skin crawled at the idea of bringing someone else into the pack, the possibility more than a little intolerable.
Jungkook pulled Taehyung closer, nuzzling his cheek against the side of his neck – the part his anti-mating collar didn’t quite obscure- as he glanced at Namjoon with irritation. “No.”
“Actually, I think hyung could be right.”
Taehyung’s gaze was the hardest for Jimin to meet, a combination of shock and hurt as he looked at the alpha. Instead, Jimin’s eyes stayed fixed on the table, mouth twisting uncomfortably at the unbridled rage from his mate now trickling down their bond.
“No, I’m not saying we should bring in someone new,” he clarified, finally lifting his eyes to meet everyone. “We have two unmated alphas in the pack.”

Summary
It started out as a misunderstanding, plain and simple. One that both men were in no hurry to correct. Until it wasn't so simple, and it was far, far too late to make a tiny clarification.

Taehyung's scent was too damn distracting.
Yoongi's wolf was so damn loud.
