Kim Jongin and Do Kyungsoo had been inseparable since childhood. They grew up side by side, walking the same paths, sharing same silences and hobby, so much that people around them often joked that they would have made a perfect pair—if only they are an alpha and omega.
But fate had never been that kind. Kyungsoo was a beta. Jongin, an omega.
In a world governed by secondary traits, it was widely believed that beta–omega bonds were fragile at best, doomed at worst. They were said to lack the instinctive pull, the balance of need and instinct that made other pairings thrive—unable to fully satisfy one another, whether in body or in soul. Because of that, Kyungsoo had buried his feelings for years, going on countless blind dates, even though his heart still warmed every time he looked at Jongin.
