He feels like two different people and the conflicting memories collide.

Or... That awkward moment when Wei Wuxian activates the ‘incense burner’ and proceeds to botch the timeline, because he screws around believing he's in a dream. Only, he's not. Everything is real. He's f*ed up and transmigrated into his teenage body, creating a tangent universe. Now- all he wants is his husband, but that Hanguang Jun seems to be gone forever, a forgotten fixture of some other world.*Rating upped to explicit for one scene in the final chapter. The rest of the fic bounces between teen and mature.

Summary
Before he was feared for massacring people by the four digits, before he was the master of a mountain built of corpses and rage, Wei Wuxian was just a wild child with dreams too big to hold. He set them aside to drag the sun down to the earth, then let them go when he took his last breath. There is no room for blooming stars when the night sky is filled with smoke and screams.
Except now there are fluffy rabbits in the hills, less fluffy but equally cute duckling disciples trailing behind him, and a loving husband on one side and a loving son on the other. Perhaps it is time he picked up those long forgotten dreams.
::In which it's another time-travel fic, except there's very little substance and far too much prose - but at least there's happy endings all around.

The ground under his feet disappeared and he fell, and fell, and continued falling until a voice he thought he would never hear again broke his fall and suddenly, he was no longer falling.
