it’s christmas time in storybrooke, and it couldn’t be better—or so you think. but when your girlfriend breaks up with you via phone while you are at work, everything seems to fall apart for you. luckily for you, your boss, who happens to be mayor regina mills, makes you a very generous offer you can’t refuse. she invites you to spend one week around christmas with her and her son henry, so you do. but it’s not only the christmas lights that begin to shine during this week; in addition to the smell of cinnamon, love also seems to linger in the air...

Summary
After Robin's death, Regina has convinced herself she doesn't deserve love. That wishing for a happy ending is futile and she'll never make up for her past. Emma and Henry refuse to let her give up and set out on a mission to convince her otherwise, even when Regina remains sceptical. Set 10 years after the events of the season 6 finale. The Black Fairy did not cast the curse and after Emma and Killian's wedding, everyone went on to live happily ever after...Sort of. Emma's marriage has fallen apart and she's spiraling into a hole of self-loathing and sadness. In an attempt to help her heal, Henry suggests a trip out of the country. They head to the South of France, where--unbeknownst to Emma--Regina has been living since leaving Storybrooke several years ago. How will Regina react to seeing Emma once again?
