Ninety-three days since she’d felt Vi’s breath on her neck, her lips trailing slow, deliberate paths down her skin. Ninety-three days since she’d felt Vi's hands hold her like nothing else in the world mattered. Ninety-three days since she’d felt alive. Caitlyn’s body ached for that connection, for the way Vi had made her feel like she wasn’t just existing but living. Her own attempts at relief had been futile. It wasn’t just about physical release—it was about Vi. Only Vi.
And now? Everything but Vi, felt dull.
OR
It’s been 93 days since the prisoncell, 93 days since Caitlyn felt anything close to real relief, and the frustration—especially the *other* kind—has been driving her crazy. When Vi shows up at her office out of nowhere with her usual smirk and teasing attitude, things heat up fast, pushing Caitlyn to finally let go of all the tension she’s been bottling up.

Jinx is gone. Vi saw it; watched as she fell down, down, down, as the explosion boomed and burned and didn’t even leave any bodies behind. She watched as her sister accepted death with open arms. Jinx is gone. Vi knows that. She does.
But when she moves in with Caitlyn, she finds herself setting aside a bedroom just for Jinx, just in case. The one right beside the room she shares with Cait. She decorates it with Jinx’s things - Sevika led her to Jinx’s workshop and let her take whatever she wanted. Every night before Vi and Cait go to bed, Vi - in a move that is so completely dangerous to her own life - unlocks the window in Jinx’s bedroom. Cait watches as she does with a sad smile, but she doesn’t say anything against it. Just in case. She knows that Jinx was never a fan of coming in through the front door.
Two months - sixty-one days - one thousand four-hundred and sixty-four hours - after the explosion, after her sister disappeared, Vi wakes up to a loud clatter in the next room.
or: vi makes a home for jinx to return to, just in case she's still out there. jinx finds her way home.
