Summary
Isagi Yoichi always had a dream: to become the best striker in the world. So... when did it all change? When did he realize that there was no longer any point in that pathetic dream? When... did he stop enjoying the sport he had loved so much since he was a child and become an almost empty shell, with only negative feelings left in his mind?
Since joining Blue Lock, he had gone through all the stages, gradually advanced to world level and made it to the top of the world, but in the end, none of it had any meaning anymore, so he simply got tired. He left his career, his friends and his parents behind and started a new life.
However, after another workday, Isagi returned to his house and realized that it had been broken into. But it was too late. He had been killed. Killed by someone who admired him. And as the blood dripped to the ground during a meteor shower, he wished he could go back and put things right and enjoy soccer again.
So, in response to his wish, he went back in time. He had been given a second chance, and he wouldn't waste it.
He would go back to being the Isagi who loved soccer so much and, once again, he would reach the top of the world to become the best striker of all.

Summary
For Isagi, romantic love is something strange. He was never interested and focused only on getting good grades to be someone in life, but as soon as he went to college, he came face to face with reality: people were dating, having sex and kissing each other. Insecure about his own sexuality and afraid of disappointing his parents and the people around him, he ends up lying about having a boyfriend. After that, he finds out that his parents will visit him in Germany later, which makes him desperate to find someone even though he can't feel anything at all. Plopping down on the comfy couch, he switches it on while he begins drying his hair. He zips to the first channel he finds, not caring what it is. Call it fate or karma or whatever, but the first thing he sees is about soccer. Bunny has to chuckle at that.
It's only an interview, so he's not particularly interested. However, when he catches a glimpse of midnight black hair, he bothers to throw a glance at the screen. He sees a face he remembers quite well, the memory surfacing in his mind instantly.
“Huh? Isn't that the happy kid from before...? The one that was so rude?”
Bunny mutters those words to himself as he recalls their strange encounter in his favourite restaurant. It was so random that by all means, he should have forgotten about it altogether, yet the memory persisted and stayed with him even after weeks had passed. Even now, he can vividly remember every moment, how passionate the kid was about soccer and how much he hated it seeing someone so happy.
