    Kaoru still isn’t opening the window, though. His arms cross over his chest as he peers at Kojiro questioningly through the glass. Well? his entire posture says.

    Prick, Kojiro thinks, with way more fondness than anyone should ever feel.
    He raises his hands in front of his face, palms pressed together, the handles of a plastic shopping bag sandwiched between them. He’s not sure how clearly he can be seen given how dark it is, but he throws Kaoru his best puppy dog eyes anyway, with a pout to match.

    He can’t hear it, but he can tell what that Kaoru makes the noise he always makes when he’s trying to seem annoyed. Mostly because he follows it with his signature snooty eye-roll.

    Kaoru finally opens the window, but not without a long-suffering sigh. “Dumbass.”

    It's two weeks after their fight with ADAM, neither of them are doing well, and Kojiro decides the best solution to mending broken hearts is food.
