The guy laughs again, his eyes adorably creased at the corners. “Wow. This is…” In seconds, he has his phone up and Soichi agreeably gives the cute guy’s camera a peace sign.

Eddie's only selfish concern was whether Chen Yi was really in love with him or whether it was a hallucination. He was so absorbed in these thoughts and attempts to shake out confirmation of his hopes from Bai Zong Yi that he simply did not attach any importance to all these little things.
A jacket thrown on the sofa. Untreated wounds. Subordinates cower in fear. Dirty dishes in the sink, an empty fridge, a wrinkled T-shirt, and three coffee mugs growing mold on the table.

Finally, he’d make his grand re-entrance at his bar, get absolutely shit-faced on the most expensive whisky there, and hopefully find someone to suck him off in the back room.
In his mind, he got to avoid Chen Yi for days - weeks, even. In reality, Ai Di immediately knew who was behind the wheel of the car that came barreling down the road the moment that he and Zong Yi stepped out into the open air.

Pete and what he needs is at the bottom of the priority list. Vegas will always be at the top, and by proxy, Vegas’s little brother will come immediately afterwards. So Pete doesn’t voice how anxious it makes him to be banished to the sofa on the other side of the room where he can still see Vegas but his view of the window isn’t as clear and he’s a little too far away from the only exit. He doesn’t intervene when Macau climbs all over Vegas even if he can see how the man goes pale and winces, how his muscles tense like he might try to squirm away.
Pete doesn’t protest when he’s regularly and unsubtly shooed from the room so the brothers can spend time together alone.
He doesn’t say a damn thing even if he wants to. Even if he’s realising that he’s not entirely sure who he is anymore when he’s not in Vegas’s direct eyeline.

He's also acquainted now with Chen Yi's impatient hands when he can't wait a moment longer and has to hitch Ai Di up onto his waist, when his kisses come rushed, two or three fitted into the space of one, wetter and hotter from the get-go.
But this night is different. Ai Di can feel it in his soul, in his gut, in the back of his throat.
Or, they run into Ai Di's first (kiss, etc.) at the bar and tension runs high.
