Summary
Mizuki Kawano was born cursed. He watched the curse slowly destroy everything he held dear: his grandparents, his mother, his life in Fukuoka, and finally, his father. After being taken in by the Hashimoto, Mizuki knew he was next. His father had died disobeying the Hashimoto: if he just did what they said, drove a few getaway cars, robbed a few stores, he'd be fine, right?
So that's what Mizuki did: spend his days doing things he'd rather not dwell on, and spend his nights talking with his mentor, Toshiro Yamagami. But when Mizuki finally earned enough reputation within the Hashimoto to get assigned to a solo mission in China, he knew this was his chance. He just had to succeed, and then the curse would be broken.
He knew he'd have to step on a few toes. Hurt a few innocent people. Betray a few friends. Get intel on the two new Overwatch recruits. Learn what made them snap, and what destroyed them-- both physically and emotionally. But Mizuki was willing to anything to break the curse.
Or so he thought.
But that's when he met Wuyang Ye.

Summary
Mizuki Kawano has been unlucky his entire life, from the moment he was a small child. His grandparents died of unnatural causes and his mother died in a suspicious drowning. His father later tragically perished too, leaving behind nine year old Mizuki Kawano, after getting himself into debt with the Hashimoto clan.
Mizuki does not know of freedom, but when a surprise encounter during a Talon mission catches him off guard, Mizuki finds himself straying a new and dangerous path. Will Mizuki be able to free himself of his family curse, or will straying from the Hashimoto be the final nail in his coffin?
Note: Mizuyang is the primary ship here but there's other ships mentioned.

The other beasts were honestly very shocked by this. As of late, Shadow Milk Cookie had greatly enjoyed showing off his spire to those who would look.
“But why?” Eternal Sugar Cookie asked. “You said you loved having us.”
That much was true. He’d always ensure their needs were met—below his own, of course, but the thought was there.
“I did!” Shadow Milk Cookie fell backwards. “But I’m afraid I cannot go on. Not without my other half here with me!”
Silent Salt Cookie recalled that cookie—Pure Vanilla Cookie, who insisted his name was the Truthless Reculse. Silent Salt Cookie had at first been angry with Shadow Milk Cookie for trapping the healer, but both insisted he stayed of his own volition.

After being rescued from Vee Tower, Alastor locked himself away in his room at the hotel. And so began Lucifer’s new ritual, desperate for Alastor to know there was someone on the other side of that cold bedroom door. Every day he spoke through the wood, and every day he received no answer. But Lucifer could wait. He would spend days talking to an empty hallway. Weeks memorizing the touch of a door that never opened pressed against his back. Months watching shadows shaped like the two of them play along the walls, keeping each other company in the absence of Alastor.
